Loose or Out of Alignment Tooth
If your tooth is loose or out of alignment, you can try to move it back into its original position using your finger with very light pressure. Don’t try to force it! Bite down gently to keep the tooth from moving.
Gargle with lukewarm salt water several times a day to help flush out the bacteria in the mouth until you can be seen in our office.
With proper—and timely—dental treatment, a loose tooth can become tighter again, especially if the condition isn’t related to late-stage gum disease (periodontitis).
Please call our office for a work-in appointment.
